Hey K! So what made you want to start riding motorycles?
My partner had a motorcycle and she used to take me on short trips across London. I loved seeing her ride and we’d spent hours looking at our dream cafe racers - she ended up getting some next Yamaha sports bike butttt it’s super fast.
What do you currently ride?
A little Honda CG 125 custom build - Crazy I bought the bike from my neighbour and about a year later on my way to meet the riders to ride up to CAMP VC I met the guy who built it!
What does being part of a community mean to you?
It’s great when you link with anyone with a shared interest. It’s a beautiful thing! It allows you to learn and grow and the most important be able to provide support and be supported.

Tell us about your first experience of Camp VC:
It was great, I really enjoyed the community present there. Everyone was super friendly and also so curious. I rode a dirt bike for the first time and that was definitely my favourite part. But also on my way up riding I got a flat tyre and had to call my insurance, they drove me the rest of the way to camp with my bike and the mechanic there fixed me up with a new inner tube, the tube is still lasting 2 years later haha.
Tell us your best memory from Camp VC:
For me probably seeing the group called Silver I think perform - a young queer female band that just absolutely killed it! It was great to see what they create together and the synergy between them, very inspiring and uplifting.
What was your fave thing to do at Camp VC?
The enduro school!
What advice would you give someone coming to Camp VC for the first time?
Have a great time, enjoy the space, enjoy the moment.
