WHO ARE OUR SESSIONS FOR?

For the last 9 years VC has been running events and workshops to get women into motorcycles by providing supportive, friendly, space spaces to give riding a go and to learn about motorcycles.

Often when someone wants to try out riding a motorcycle they have to rely on knowing someone else who has a motorcycle to let them try before going down the route of taking a CBT and ultimately buying their own two wheels. But what happens if you know you wanna give motorcycles a try but don’t know anyone that can help you out and give you that first try on theirs?

The VC Moto School exists to create an awesome space where women can give riding geared motorcycles a try before taking the dive and getting their CBT around a bunch of likeminded people.

OUR SCHOOL IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF :

• You’ve never tried riding motorcycles before but want to give it a go in a cool, supportive environment.

• You’ve had a go at getting your CBT but maybe don’t feel the experience filled you with the confidence to get out there on your own.

• You’ve done your CBT on a scooter but want to try out riding a geared motorcycle before getting your own.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Our experienced all female team of licenced trainers will take you through from the very basics of riding a motorcycle - from where everything is located on a motorcycle, how to operate everything from gears, clutch, brakes and all controls to getting on the move. The aim of the sessions is for everyone to leave having ridden a geared 125cc motorcycle at our off road private facility feeling confident, happy and maybe even having met some new moto buddies!

Each session is 3 hours long and we have both morning and afternoon sessions available with each session including motorcycles, tuition, use of helmets, water and insurance for all participants.

We will supply you with a helmet for the session but we ask all participants to come to the session wearing jeans (or similar heavy weight full leg covering- no shorts or skirts please people!) , a long sleeved jacket (this can be a denim jacket, wax jacket or preferably a leather jacket or similar) and boots that cover your ankles ( something along the line of a pair of Doc Martin’s is perfect!) and gloves (these would preferably be leather but textile riding gloves or MX gloves will also be fine).

THE LOCATION

Situated in the heart of E16 in East London’s Docklands area is our epic training space - The Silver Building - E16 1YZ

Super easy to reach by public transport (the nearest DLR stop- West Silver Town, is just a 5 minute walk away) and we also have parking for anyone coming by car.

IMPORTANT INFO!

Upon the purchase of your space on one of our sessions you will be sent an email with info about what to expect on the day, what to bring along with you and anything else you’ll need to know ahead of the session.

PLEASE NOTE that our training sessions are not a CBT qualification. Our sessions are insured beginner sessions meant as a precursor to going on to getting your CBT with a CBT training school.

PLEASE NOTE that your space on the session is non refundable and by purchasing your place you are agreeing to these terms. If any of our sessions are unable to go ahead due to adverse weather conditions we will contact all session attendees to arrange an alternative date.
